Welcome back to our “How to Use MembershipWorks” blog series! In this post, we’re diving into one of the most important tools in your institutional membership: keeping your campus contacts up to date.
Each institution that joins AHEAD in Texas receives a Member Profile — and depending on your membership level, you can add multiple team members to that same profile. It’s the best way to make sure everyone on your team receives member emails, access to event discounts, and stays connected to our growing network.
Let’s walk through how to update those contacts — it’s easy, we promise! 😄
🔧 Step-by-Step: How to Add or Edit Campus Contacts
- Log in to your account at www.txahead.org
- Click on Membership > My Account in the navigation menu
- From your Member Profile, click the tab labeled “Additional”
- From here, you can:
- Add new team members
- Edit existing contact information
- Remove contacts who are no longer with your institution


👥 Who Should Be Listed?
Anyone on your campus who supports accessibility, accommodations, or student services should be included! Think:
- Access & Disability Services staff
- Testing coordinators
- Counselors or wellness professionals
- Dean of Students or Student Success leaders
- Career Services or Academic Support staff
If they’re part of the work, they should be part of the network!
🔢 How Many Contacts Can I Add?
Your membership level determines how many contacts you can include. If you’re not sure how many are included in your plan, you can confirm your membership plan type under “My Account”
Professional Membership – One member with no additional contacts
Institutional Silver – up to THREE professional members
Institutional Gold – up to FIVE professional members
Institutional Platinum – up to NINE professional members
