New Professionals

It is not uncommon to transition to the disability services field from another discipline or industry. For those new to the profession, our field can seem overwhelming at first.

AHEAD in Texas exists to strengthen and support disability services professionals across the region, especially those new to our field. Over time, this page will share resources and information to help new professionals jump into the dynamic role of disability services in higher education.

If you would like to contribute to this section of the website, please contact Justin Romack via email at justinr@disability.tamu.edu.
